It is a happy occasion on which relations and friends meet possibly after long periods.
Now, the members of a family often have to reside at far-flung place as their bread-earning job demands.
On ceremonial occations their home-coming is required by the members of their ancestral home. Then they get leave of their employers and come back home to enjoy the pleasure of get together.
