What is library?
The word library comes from Latin word "liber " i.e in english - "book".
- The first real libraries as we know of was about 8000 years ago.
- In mesopotamian civilization, the people of there wrote on wet clay tablets with a search stick.The tablets were baked and it were arranged in a place in subject order.
- It was the beginning time & way to arise of the first library.
- In the early age the Egyptian wrote on sheet of paperus. The most famous library of ancient time was the library in Alexander set up about 300 BC.
- Around the world, who was the Roman who first had the idea of setting up public library.
- In 4th century there was 28 public libraries in Rome.Durning the Cristhian era, it is noted, library was a part of churches and Monasteries.
How many kinds of library today?
There are four types of library.
Such as :
- Academic Library
- Public Library
- Special Library
- National Library

In India, especially in the remotest villages, there are no library, if so, there is continuously stuttering down the libraries day by day, becoming abandoned house.
